I took my husbands last name...but i moved my maiden name to be my middle name because i didnt wanna lose it (of course my husband thinks its the dumbest thing ever...but it was that or i was hyphenating)I'm feelin kind of n-a-s-t-y

I think youve gotten alot of views. I think it just depends...Ive been married and divorced..once..anyway..I did get my maiden name back legally. In my case now..If i choose to marry again...I would hyphen the name. and pass both names 2 my children... I'm normally a pretty traditional person when comes to matter of the heart,but I do have a modern twist..but my reason is that you both have your familys name and i want to pass on my fathers last name to keep it alive in the future generations because my brother and father are no longer living..so.it's very important to me that you do have a choice. follow the leader follow the leader | |

i married in brazil, and in brazil you keep your maiden name, and you take your husband's name....so now i have a really long name! | |
