i can't believe this made it on to network tv....it made me long for the days of loose sex, drugs and hot music

It was good, and I think it has room to grow. I know the name of the show is Swingtown, but I just hope they don't get hung up on the novelty/peep show factor of swinging. I know the show is about that, but I want it to be about the characters. I can see the swinging stuff getting tiresome.

It's pretty campt at times too. They're pretty good with specific date references too, which I appreciated. The Omen was released in June 1976, and the first episode was July 1976. They had some kids coming out of the theatre saying, "I don't understand why Damien's dad had to kill him."

It does feel a bit like a costume parade, but maybe it just takes getting used to.

Okay..I watched this online today, and I actually enjoyed it.
