Not really, but they seem to love me. I think kids are just exhausting and I hate it when you've been playing with them for a while and then they just don't know when playtime's over. That just makes me want to smack them, but I can't because that would piss off their parents. I think I'd love my kids though, because they would know how to behave. Mainly because I'd smack them.

Aside from my own, I like kids in reverse proportion to the length of time I have to spend with them. neutral

No way, lady. I thought I'd be the grumpiest dad in the world, but I think children in one's direct lineage turn all the rules on their ear. (The teenage years don't count, of course.) smile

Anxiety

children creep me out and i have to work on that. really old people creep me out, too.

it's like, i feel like if i'm myself around kids or really old people, i'll end up wounding them or making them cry or something.

some of my friends' kids are cool, though. i tend to really warm up to sulky, awkward only children. they're just trying to live a life, and i can relate to that. lol

I love children who are my relatives...or with whom I have some sort of other connection. (Their parents are friends, etc.)

Children in the abstract do nothing for me.

Perhaps when they start paying my Social Security, I will feel different. lol

Certain aspects I do...I love when children want to learn something, that's what life is all about, the old teaching the new. I love when a child is happy and laughing.

You can keep the self centered brats, the I'm always the center of attention kids.

I have certain nephews who I'd like to pinch till it hurts...lol
Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

I don't LOVE children

I like some of them a lot, my own I love by default, for their many quirks and vulnerabilities. I know some kids that if I had them nearby for extended periods I couldn't help but love them, but I wouldn't make a blanket statement saying I love them ALL. I don't even KNOW them! eek
