Wii Games

Are hella expensive!

I've beeny waiting for Wii Fit for months but for some reason I thought it was only going to be $90 but it's really $180??? That's just for the board.

And MarioKart is selling for $80 on Amazon.

Forget about RockBand. Guitar Hero actually seems normal by comparison.

that's just the jacked up prices because they are in demand. You can find them for the regular price in the stores. Well, probably not Fit, because it's sold out. BECAUSE Nintendo intentionally shipped only 500 thousand to the USA, over 2 mil to Europe. Sounds about right. rolleyes

so anyway, go to a real store to get Mario Kart. The popular titles in our household are:

Boogie
Dance Dance Revolution
Mario Party 8
Wii Sports
Wii Play
Game Party

It's been awhile since I bought a game and I'm ready for something new. I keep considering Game Party but was a little scared. Maybe I'll pick it up next time.

I wouldn't call Wii Play "popular" as people only get it for the extra controller. I don't know anyone who has played it again after first going through it when they got it.

depending on where you go Wii Fit really isn't too expensive all things considering. I got it for $140 Australian, and in comparison to other consoles Wii games ARE cheap. Most new releases on Wii sell for $70 - $80 (Australian) compared to $100 - $120 for Xbox or PS3 games

Wii Fit for me was $89....but now my real question is...who else here has done it, and what do u think of it? I've been doing it for 15 days now...not too hard, but I guess I am looking for quicker results?!? If that makes sense. I know you have to start easy and work your way up, but the more you do, the more it opens up other exercises. I cannot do them all in one session, that would be too much! it's all good and I am enjoying it, but some of the balancing stuff is driving me nuts!! lol

most of the stuff unlocks once you have put a certain amount of time into it. But different difficulty levels only unlock once you have gotten a decent score on it. The balance ones for example have beginner, advanced and some have super advanced. Whereas the aerobic ones have longer times which you can do it eg 3 mins, 6mins etc

Like everything else tho your not going to get anything out of it if you don't put in 100% which is what i recommend smile

This is the price I originally thought it was. I don't know where Amazon is coming up with $190. I'll just have to go into a store and check it out but of course it's sold out everywhere.
