Is she OK? Did the doctors catch and remove everything? WOW, the way you described these events, I was scared and heartbroken. i typed a long message on here to thank everyone, and then my damn computer crashed!!! i hate that shit....


anyway, long story short, there has been lots of scares during this week. bri's stitches are trying to pull apart in areas of the injury. she had red streaks running up her leg. they ended up putting her on crutches to help keep her off the leg all together, even though she hasnt been moving around much at all.

but, now its been 7 days since the accident and things are really looking up! today the pain level was not even an issue, she went all day without taking anything for that.... thats a huge improvement! the red streaks are nearly gone now, thats a wonderful thing! they are thinking they will even start taking some of the stitches out on monday, thats scary but we'll see how it looks.

we have been either on the couch or at the doctors office - we go everyday to have them monitor the infection. so its been a VERY long week around here and she is getting VERY tired of watching tv, poor thing

we are very thankful for all the wellwishings, i have read them to her during the time the site was up and running. she thinks you guys are all very nice and appreciates that you said such nice things. her biggest smile of all came when i read the message from 'buff man'.... she was whacked out on pain meds, but she understood that you care, thats nice, thank you

my front room is full of flowers and teddy bears - neighbors, friends and family have all sent great support! i am fortunate that so many people care, thank you guys again

so, today has been a good day!!! im so happy to see her smile again and knowing shes on the mend is helping so much. we all know that to see your baby in so much pain and so scared is a horrible thing....

its nearly 2am here now, im off to bed now you guys are great - definately like family

As for you Mum - a big hug and thank goodness you had the presence of mind to do as you were advised. Even through that mayhem you probably saved your daughter even without you thinking about it!

Looks like she started the busiest emergency room season off early! Kids and summer - that's a safety hazard! She's a good kid and she will heal so quick, watch. Kids are amazing. Here's her opportunity to milk everyone for Hannah Montanna or Chee Tah Girl stuff! (depending on her age)

She deserves all the spoiling everyone gives her! She just went through H E double hockey sticks! You're such a great mommy!

i forgot that i put that in about the dog! sorry about that.

buddy did NOT have an obstruction, so he did not have to have surgery that day. he had a horrible irritation of the stomach and intestinal tract, TONS of horrible farts, some puppy pepto medicine (beef flavored but it helped )

day before yesterday though, he went in to be neutered, so he did go through surgery, just not for the tummy. i figured now was a good time since i have to keep the dog and brianna apart so he doesnt jump on her stitches. the dog is healing fine, and so is bri.....

i get a vacation soon, right?

I can't even fathom!
