Bear struck and killed on I-75 in Cobb Bear struck and killed on I-75 in Cobb
By MIKE MORRIS The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Published on: 05/30/08 A bear was struck by a vehicle and killed early Friday on a Cobb County interstate, police said. Cobb police dispatchers said they began getting calls around 6 a.m. about a dead bear alongside I-75 southbound at I-285. Crews removed the body of the 200-pound cub from the shoulder of the interstate around 8 a.m. It's not unusual for bears to make their way from the forested foothills north of Atlanta into the suburbs, particularly in the spring and summer. Last July, a Kennesaw woman hit a 200-pound bear on I-75 in southern Cherokee County, and bears also were spotted last summer roaming around Roswell, east Cobb County and near Stone Mountain in DeKalb County. A 75-pound bear was captured in June 2006 at the intersection of I-285 and Ashford Dunwoody Road in DeKalb just a week after another bear was tranquilized and caught outside Gwinnett Place Mall. Four years ago, a Gainesville man driving on I-85 in Gwinnett County struck and killed a 450-pound bear near the Ga. 120 exit.

How the fuck could you not stop?
Oh wait, it was a 200lb bear, I suppose it would be pretty pissed if it survived, wouldn't it? But still, I would have to stop, at least to call for help.
