They are comical and loyal. My male that I had in the states was very in tune with your moods and emotions. If you seemed sad he would do something funny, then look at you as if to say" Did you see that?".
They can be very protective of you as they get older and they are stubborn and very smart.
The ones I have had usually do not like to disappoint you which makes it easier to train.
Personally I like a dog that is tough and feels sturdy. I like ACD's because they are tough but do not get too big.

I guess it is one of those things, certain breeds grab you.
