I got an advance copy of this the other day. Man, I was totally shocked when they were walking at the end and they saw the Statue of Liberty half-buried in the sand! I did NOT see that coming!

i have not seen one single episode of this show, so i'm not qualified to guess the ending. 
 on the other hand, maybe that means i can solve the mystery without any form of bias. 
it's either: like Dark City, they were abducted to an artificial planet and never knew it; or they fell through a hole in the space -time continuum and landed in a parallel dimension; or they are test subjects in a psychiatric experiment, safely institutionalized for the entire duration. | |

WOW. My inital though was it was going to be like Dark City. So much has transpired all bets are off the table. They are acually culling from many differnt places Comic Books Star Wars Alice in WOnderland Wizard of Oz Miriads of others What's interesting is that there is so much going on BEYOND the surviors and their rescue. It's about a long timeline and history proably spanning several hundred years and does deal with spacetime continuums, time travel, teleportation and a feud between several individuals who seem to be controling much of whats going on.
