PLEASE...let this be a decent movie,,its been so long!~

I was intrigued for about the first 10 seconds. You *know* you have seen this movie at least a hundred times already...

There's a nice interview with M. Night in the June edition of Empire magazine. There's also quite some info on The Happening there. Interesting.

I do not know what it is, but some of his films are great, others are real horrid. He comes across as a weirdo, but at least a weirdo that made some great movies.

I really should not say 'weirdo'. I suppose I should use the word 'geek'. Cuz he is.

I may see this eventually, but I won't rush... and I reeeeally don't like Mark Walberg, so there's a built-in hurdle for me at the onset.

I think the word is quirky with a bit of geek thrown in for good measure. It's one of the things I like about his work.

Unbreakable - Disliked, though it was an interesting premise
Signs - Liked it until the third act, which I hated
The Village - Disliked
Lady in the Water - Haven't seen it yet

I should be fair... He does an impressive job tapping very basic folk archetypes and imagining them in new ways. His final executions just don't always grab me.
