Wonderful stand-up! She hosted the Oscars two or three times, and her HBO specials are fantastic!

This is a tough one...

Chris Tucker
Sandra Bernhardt
Bernie Mac
Dave Chapelle
Kathy Griffith

* George Carlin is perhaps the smartest out there... but he makes me think (and get angry) more than laugh.

she does a lot of theater - writing and performing - and when she went on her book tour for her "hospitality" how-to book, her appearances basically amounted to a stand-up comedy routine with craft demonstrations. i was able to attend one of her appearances at a book store in chicago and she was hiLARious.

He's not a buffoon like 1/2 the ones who are mentioned in here, he's a master teacher nod 3/4 of comedians learned from him since he started his career writing materials for them(starting with Richard Pryor).

Beside, he drops it on you SO bad,,,,its no wonder why they keep trying to shut him up, he's REALLY rough around the edges and he doesn't intent to change, thats why I love the sonofabitch.
