What is the difference between Handsome & Gorgeous Can you be gorgeous and NOT handsome? and vice versa? ---------------------------------

Handsome is when somebody is respectfully good looking. Someone whose suit hangs fine.
Gorgeous is when you want to rip that suit off and get to business. | |

I always think of handsome as someone who is generally looked at as attractive by many - an overall look. I can call someone handsome but not be interested in them or be attracted to them at all. But I can still appreciate that others may find them attractive. George Clooney would be my example of a handsome man.
Gorgeous means someone that is beautiful - with beautiful features, is insanely attractive and highly fuckable. But that's just me.  | |

Handsome is kind of an acknowledgement of across-the-board, appeals-to-everbody good looks. Wears a suit nicely. Nearly everyone would find him attractive in a manly way. Gooey (aka Herman, aka HamsterHuey) is the most handsome man I've ever met in real life.
Gorgeous implies some kind of personal crush or affinity for. You can be handsome AND gorgeous, but you could also just be one or the other. |

Handsome, to me, is more masculine and sexy on average and I tend to find men who are thought of as gorgeous, like Brad Pitt, less sexy. I also agree with CarrieMpls that you can be both. But handsome just implies that kind of rugged manliness that I like. | |

I saw a picture of Jason Taylor, smiling in a suit and said, wow he is so handsome. Does anyone in a suit, make them handsome? hot, sexy and handsome, i think i understand. Are women just gorgeous? maybe pretty men? Maybe this picture shows H&G ---------------------------------

I suppose it depends on the lighting you catch me in. Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it. |
