You argue that without religion, we'd be in the Star Trek era by now. How progressed do you think we actually are, as a society? As a race? Do you think we deserve to progress more quickly?

We have people starving here, homeless, jobless, without any health care. We have polluted this Earth in just over 1 century. In the name of progress.

We have more and more people getting online, and fewer people actually communicating in person. The Internet - once hailed as being the hub of communication is mainly used for porn. Some progress.

We have enough medical knowledge to drastically improve the quality of life, but greed and politics prevent low-cost health care.

We don't need any more progress.
