I'm going to my second favorite place on earth right now--- Bill Jackson's Outdoors world to see if they have any Kite Surfing kits.

Well, actually, my primary objective is to look for wet/dry bags for my equipment for a short kayaking excursion this upcoming weekend , but I saw kitesurfers again this weekend. As much smack as I talk about getting a kit, I keep delaying it.

And I'm not in a financial spot to just put down 2 grand on a liesure pastime, got goddamnit, I can at least browse

The Marcus Miller Signature Fender Jazz V (5-string bass). Its price is upwards of $1,800, depending on the outlet. Just can't justify the expense, at the moment.

Fender's Stevie Ray Vaughan signature Stratocaster retails around $1,500 or so new.

Both have wonderful tone -- the neck on the SRV is amazing. I might just buy a Warmoth SRV neck for one of my Strats and deal.

The last thing that I really browsed intensely for and did not buy until I researched and tried to talk myself out of for a spending the money was my pup. I am a sucker for furry creatures and someone finally persuaded me to do it.

I guess the next thing will be a car.
