I'm seriously thinknig of getting a moter scooter cause they're only about $2000 and it will help me stretch my car's use out for at least another 2 years, if I put around town in it.

Well for me I have a Micheal Tire credsit card for my repairs other than Transmission and Engine.

On my last car a red V-6 Duster I financed the transmission for a year at 135 a month and it had a 3yr 30,000 mile warranty. I would look into that if you don't want a car payment

My current car A Z-24 Chevy Cavalier i bought certified used it was 3 yrs old off lease with 21,000 miles and my payment was 195 a month with no money down and had a full warranty.

Check into certified used becasue alot of cars are now being repossed or coming off leases!!!

My baby is now 9 yrs old no major problems at all!! Now has 62,300 miles on her!!

My car has been fantastic. Its a 2001 but I took it off the showroom floor so it was bought a year earlier.

8 years old and never had a stich of trouble at 160,000 miles. I just put a clutch in and now its just going to be a domino effect.

( I live in California so, we drive a lot. Everything is very spread out.)

Still looks fantastic however and i just love the damned thing!

It is not a domino effect after the Transmission I has no more trouble, keep the car it is great!!! It is you!!!! Call several places to get an estimate and ask how they finance but 3,000 is not bad for everything you described.

LAPD is not the most relaxed force in the world. This was a great moment. My purse was in the trunk. The officer and I go there to get my ID..... before I close the trunk I look him in the eye and offer, "officer, I have 2 Brits and an Israeli in my car. and and they are oblivious to our protocol. When I lower this trunk more then likely you are going to see flashing metal and you need to know they are cameras!" To which he replies ok, thank you.

I don't view my car payment as debt really

I view it as "how much is it worth to me daily" ( yes I break it down ) to have a safe vehical to get my kids and I aroud in ...

When I look at it that way - daily ( breaks dow to around 8 $ a day )

It's CHEAP

Well then, you don't want either of my two new notes..... lol

Gas is kinda high out here in AZ, so I traded in my SUV for this...

and a couple of months ago, I gave into my mid-life kinda crisis and got this...

My wallet is A LOT lighter these days....but at least I'm getting better gas mileage.... razz

What has your transmission been doing, did it just quit working? I have never seen an automatic work right in a small car, they just shouldn't be offered.
