UEFA Champions League Finals: Manchester United v. Chelsea

Hey, for all of you English and European football fans out there, are you watching the Champions League finals between Manchester United and Chelsea?

I'm just an NFL loving American football fan, but I've been told that this matchup is the equivalent of the New York Yankees, Dallas Cowboys, and Los Angeles Lakers teaming up together to play against a combination of the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, and Boston Celtics. Supposedly the Moscow police and Russian Army have the stadium on lockdown to watch out for hooligans on either side. So who's got a favorite here?

I won't have a favorite until mdiver tells me who to root for. He's my go-to soccer, errrrr, football guy.

That scum sucker Drogba sent off in great fashion and then that idiot Terry missing the possible winning penalty. woot!

Only 1 club in London with a trophy this year boys finger lol

It was great to see Ronaldo's penalty being saved I've seen him do that stop mid-run before and its terrible ettiquette.
I dont particulary like any of them but because of the Scottish connection im sort of glad Man U won.
Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!
woot!

Enjoyed the match. Think it really sucks that they are not able to have a welcome home party because of the scrapping last week. It has nothing at all to do with them.

I saw the final (I luv my satellite lol) and I have to say that Chelsea deserved the victory, but you know, this is (european) football: if you don't score your chances, you will pay for it, pure and simple.

Anyway, Terry didn't deserve such punishment ( sad ), and C.Ronaldo is an overrated brat who truly deserved those three minutes of pure terror and agony that he experienced after missing his (bizarre) penalty lol
I'm glad for Ferguson, Scholes, Giggs, Ferdinand and Van der Sar, though wink

eek Van der Sar, Van der Vaart, Huntelaar, Van Nistelroy, Sneijder, Bouma, Heitinga, Mathijsen, de Jong, Robben, Babel, Kuyt, Van Persie...
GREAT players, all of them. I truly think that the Dutch's national team will arrive to the semifinals, at least.
