Is Myspace Trying to Be Like facebook??? I've just noticed that myspace is now adding spplications (or whatever u call them)!! I have ahd a few people "buy" me as their pet and so on :0
ANd all I can say is "Please myspace...please nooooo" I don't use my facebook as it is because quite frankly it confuses the Hell out of me and I don't understand whats going on at all (computer iliterate maybe?  )

I find facebook to be too confusing and too sterile. And it's all those annoying applications that make it confusing. I'm kind of ambivalent about myspace adding them too. "Try to remember how you used to feel about me

I think facebook is STREAKS ahead of myspace.
Myspace is a bunch of junk messages and garbage which doesn't seem to help me at all. What I like best about facebook: It tells me which of my friends are online and I can instantly open a chat with them. Great for a quick catchup with friends that I haven't seen in a while or are overseas. It tells me whose birthdays are upcoming as soon as I log in. You can create "events" and send invitations to all your friends, they then either "accept", "decline" or "maybe attend" the event and then you can see whose coming to your party! It also links to google maps to show exactly where the event is taking place. You can post photos and "tag" your friends in the photos and it will inform them which new photos they are in when they log on. I guess you can probably do these things on myspace, but facebook's interface is just so much more elegant and intuitive. Doesn't matter, I don't need yet ANOTHER social networking headache. facebook doesn't look like a commercial corporate owned website (even if it is) and thats the biggest difference. It really seems like a network of your friends. I have NEVER received a message from a fake profile on facebook, and I have no privacy settings activated. Also the video quality of videos you upload (or record directly through a record button in facebook) are much better compression quality than youtube or Myspace. Facebook is just more futuristic at this time. First there was friendster, then myspace, now facebook. Each one had their loyal people that didn't want the next one to invade... but each one is more progressive. Myspace has recently tried to incorporate more facebook like things...
