ATTN: WORLD! The TV Show "The OC" is not an accurate reflection of Orange County! Last night was in Long Beach for pride and a guy from the UK was lost and needed help back to his car. I knew the cross-streets he was looking for so I helped him to the location where he did find the car. Then he asked if I was local and I told him I live 15 miles east in Orange County and he literally freaked out like he was meeting a movie star
OMG I watch the OC! We love that show in the UK. You are so lucky to live there I'm like this If he only knew People, parts of Orange country are full of vapid cunts but for the most part "The OC" is pretty non-descript. Certainly where I live Not so much to be excited about really. Unless you have the money to rescue kids from Fontucky 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

I always thought glamorizing Orange County seemed like a strange idea. Next: "The 'Vine: Don't call me Irv!" My Legacy

I suspect that most people would find the glorification of their living place bizarre but trust me, that is not The OC Not the majority of it anyway. 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

When I lived in the OC, it was first Laguna Niguel, then Laguna Hills. Both are nice places to live... but, nothing like what they portray in the show. People need to check themselves when they confuse Reality with Reality TV. |

OMG!
We don't all think like that!!!!! However, in the past, where I'm from the East End of London, and we have 'Eastenders', there have been soooo many Americans and Australians over the years who think that the entire place is actually real - and not a film set - and ask for directions to get there cause they want to have a drink in the Queen Vic Pub! OK, speaking of City fiction there is a mall here called South Coast Plaza and Santa Ana borders that mall. Most of Santa Ana is ghetto hell but there are some select parts of the city that would blow your damn mind how beautiful and nice they are. There was this neighborhood near where I used to live when I had my first apartment and literally if you went down the street you'd see like shanti shacks and houses with boards on the window and you take one turn at the end of the block to the next street and there are these neighborhoods full of mansions Well Santa Ana is known for being ghetto and not these nice little secluded upscale nooks and one time a friend was introducing me to another of his friends and talk came up about where we lived and his friend said he lived in Santa ana Heights. There are no fucking hills in Santa Ana 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740
