Whew, the hour seemed to go by super-fast but he said I did well for a first timer (I just grip the wheel too hard )

I did a three point turn, which went well, no bumping the curb

And I managed to get to 80 km speed which was fun

I'm pumped for my next lesson.

Anyone else here learning/got any fun learning to drive stories?

My driving story goes like this, and it's true.....

On the day of my test for my licence I was calm, not scared if I would pass or not.

When it was my turn I went for my very first road test. Did everything the tester asked me to do. I had no idea if I passed or failed. I actually thought I had probably failed.

After the test was over the road test guy gave me the sheet and told me congrats you've passed now go get your licence

My driving school instructor, Mr. Vu, was waiting with my other class mates. He told me that when I went for the road test he was so nervous he was pacing the floor

Mr. Vu was so happy I passed.

Just do what the road test person asks you to do and you will be ok. Just concentrate on what you have to do and pay attention to the road and nothing else.

took my motorcycle test a year and a half ago.

I already had my permit and had sold my car (actually a bad idea for september in Maine)

The bike I had blew it's head gasket and would not stay running, so the morning of the test I turned the idle all the way up and it ran so loud the instructor could not hear the horn.

right away I screwed up forgetting to signal, and zipping across railroad tracks without looking.

We got back and he passed me no questions asked.
