Now this is special. A song that ripped off Timbaland's beat made it 3rd place BUT a Timbaland production (according to the BBC) won the contest.
But seriously, I didn't have a clue about the Timbaland connection until I saw the report on the BBC website: "Bilan's heartfelt ballad Believe, produced by US R&B star Timbaland, gave Russia its first ever Eurovision win. "

90% of the songs were lame: uninspired MOR ballads, extremely dated euro-pop, freak shows here and there, boring pop/rock and lame hard-rock.

My favourites:

Ukraine: go Ani go!
Greece: a nice Britney Spears-ripoff
Denmark: I thought it would be the hit of the night
France: o'right, the guy was scary, but the song was good, with a proper performer and a different production, this song could have been truly interesting.

I liked Greece, Portugal and Sweden, somehow. She was kinda scary but I could imagine her song being a hit at the horrid gay bars...

I think Holland should be smart and withdraw from participating at all; all them boring political votes.
