I've been on at least 3 in my life. They were disasters anyway

I don't even like to go on a date with most people I do know.

It's just a date. a few hours at the most. so even if it doesn't go well, I look at it as an adventure.

No. I don't want to see their look of disappointment when I walk through the door. It's too much pressure for me. I can't even handle a sighted date.

My parents met on a blind date, then suffered thirty years of terrible marriage.

I have done it one time, and it was fine, though it was not at all romantic, just animal sex.

I've done blind dates, but 90 percent of them were duds. I tried speed dating once as fodder for an article about the practice, and briefly "saw" one of the women I met there. Generally speaking, though, I despise anything that could fall under the banner "dating." You wanna kick it? Hang out? Chill? Word. But don't call it "dating."

Funny posting - I had a blind date with Goldfinger at the train station just in the middle of the country, that was very poetic blind date - and the scene was jut perfect:-D
