personally, i think the writers went headlong down a dead end street with the whole wilson/amber thing. this was likely the only way they could come up with to get themselves out of that corner. confused

did i mention how much i hated this episode? smile

how betrayed i felt when the writers and producers evidently decided to substitute tear jerk manipulation for actual plot and/or character development in a season finale? mad i would hope that this is the one and only soap opera episode we ever see on this show. nod

I think this showed great potential in character development. And come on, there's been plenty of soap opera-ish episodes on the show.
