I'd say I'm a cynical optimist

Nay on the pessimist

I used to be so fucking negative, but in the back of my mind I always believed my life would be perfect.

Now I don't think anything will be perfect, but I am not so negative.

I'm always looking for the cloud beneath the silver lining. Tell me an idea and I'll tell you why it can't work.

depends on my confidence here. if i'm feeling good about myself i'm optimistic, if not then i'm awful to be around

A little bit of both depending on the situation. If it's something I have complete control in, I'm optimistic all the way. If it's in someone else's hands, I'm a total pessimist. I just know things won't run as smoothly as I hope if I'm relying on someone else.

It depends entirely on my mood. I can swing both ways dramtically, but overall, I think I'm a fairly practical realist. With maybe just a hint of cynicism.

I'm a realist. I hate when people think that when you have doubts about something, you're seen as a pessimist. I just see things the way they are and the probabality of something actually happening in the real world.

On a similar note, I hate how people think that optimists can't be realists. The opposite of a realist is an idealist. Optimists usually see things the way they are, but they choose to focus on the positive.

Realist. Which sadly means a pessamist these days.

I'm more of an optimist border realist! I always try and make the best of things!

Although on the other side of things, I'm an absolute dreamer and usually got my head in the clouds and often (and quite subconsiously) fail to acknowledge and dismiss the seriousness of certain situations, which has serious pros and cons!

Realist - sometimes both a pessimist or an optimist at the same time

I deeply believe in the power of thoughts and intentions - so more times then not I'm about the positive

Really depends on my mood and the situation.

I have some pretty high expectations apparently, which can't ever be met SOOOOO I am obviously disappointed wherever I go and I KNOW I will never be pleased, so why bother expecting anything to be any good
