We always went there for special occasions when I was a kid. It was such a fancy restaurant to me then. To my parents and my brother it's still a big deal, a fancy night out. Now, I pretty much think it's gross, but because I only ever go there with my family, I find it oddly comforting. I'd never go otherwise. When I was a kid, I had to go to the doctor a LOT for a while. To make up for all the needles and stuff, my mom would take me to Red Lobster for popcorn shrimp and hushpuppies. Nay. It's okay, but way overrated. Those cheddar biscuits are a gift from Jesus though. I swear to God they cook their shit early on in the morning then just microwave it before it goes to the table. Last time I was there, my order took just over 5 minutes to get to the table. I'm sorry, but I know how long lobster and shrimp take to prepare, and it's a hell of a lot longer than that.
