Then I'll reintroduce contact at some point, just as gradually as I stopped it. if I'm able to just be friends with the person without having my feelings of infatuation return, then we can be friends, if not, then I just need to back off and avoid this person. I've only had to do this in situations where things were getting a little nuts, like he alreay has a girlfriend he's in love with or he's just doesn't like my in that way or the relationship as it is just isn't doing either one of us any good and there's no way it will change.
