How do you uncrush a crush? How do you undo a crush you have on someone?
I'm really trying NOT to crush on this dude and just view him as a friend but damn it, its hard. Any advice.

As they say, the best way to get over someone is to get under someone else. |

Completely indulge in the crush.
Fantasize about him constantly, and force yourself to masturbate to him every single day. Every time you find yourself not crushing on him, crush on purpose. Soon you'll get sick of it. It's like making your kid smoke the whole carton when you catch him with cigarettes. I assume. The Normal Whores Club

I'm really trying NOT to crush on this dude and just view him as a friend but damn it, its hard. Any advice. Three ways to deal with it. One is to completely remove that person from your life. But since you regard him as a friend, that may not be an option. The second option is to, as Carrie said, find a new one. Or, as a last resort, you can take your mind off of it momentarily by sending me naked pics of yourself. I know what I'd do.

I want you to keep crushin'. Ok, seriously...I don't really think you can uncrush someone. You either do nothing and suffer or stop the contact.

Don't ask me. | |

Talk to him. You'll probably find something out about him that you dont like. Then again, you may start liking him more.

Do him.
He might be horrible in bed and his feet might stink. That should do it

I think the easiest way is to find someone else to have a crush on.
But utlimately you have to gage whether this crush makes you feel better or worse, how it affects your self-esteem, before moving on from it. If it's harmelss, by all means, go on crushin'. If you end up feeling unimportant and self-pitying--girl, find someone else quick!!!!!

I used to go through this ALL the damn time and - as hard as it may seem - I think distance is the key.

wouldn't that only make things awkward and thus kind of end things, especially if you want to remain friends? [...i think i can, i think i can, i think i can...]
