The only 2 movies I've seen in the last 5 months or so are Cloverfield and Lynch (a documentary on David Lynch, it was shown here as part of the Twin Cities International Fim Festival).
I enjoyed them both.  |

i've seen some good stuff this year, like "persepolis" and "cloverfield" and "lynch" and - YES - "SPEED RACER" (damn it!), but nothing has really sunk in and hit me where i live. the last movie i was really impressed with was "juno", and the last movie that really kicked my butt was "shortbus". i don't know if there's anything coming out this year that'll have quite as much kick, but it looks like we're gonna be in for lots of pretty eye candy on the big screens, so fine. that'll do. | |
