age...

Is it really just a number?

Yesterday I found myself hanging with a coworker who is 10+ years my senior.

Tonight I was hanging with a former coworker who is 13 years my junior and some of his friends. The oldest of which is still 7 years younger than me. (It was a little embarrassing when one of his friends asked my age. redface But she guessed me to be about 23. falloff )

This is not a normal occurence for me, but I had a great time both times.

Does your social group contain all ages ranges? Or do you stick to your own age?

Most are younger in their mid to late 20s.

I only have one friend who is older than me and we don't really hang out all that often.

If someone is cool, they're cool. Age doesn't matter.
Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.

I am not an age-ist, as some of you might know. I love to have friends in all age-ranges. They younger keep you young, the older point out the mistakes you are making and in the meantime we're all having a party.

42 is a beautiful age, I think. I can't wait to reach that ae in five years and be as suave as Ms Karfen Muse.

I'm going to be 42 in December. Grrrrr! No, I really don't mind.

I hang out with people my age pretty much although I feel comfortable with younger folk. They do need to be a little on the more mature side though.

I feel like I'm perpetually 18 years old.

Everyone I work with right now is younger than me. lol And a lot of my friends are a few years younger than me.

I also hang out with people who are a lot older than me as well though. I don't know, I guess the whole "scene" of people I know and hang out with are all around 25-45.

Most of my co-workers are a little younger than me, but most of my good friends in Toledo are actually much older — 15-20 years at least. I can hang out with folks of all ages, but I'm sometimes put-off by some of my younger peers (20-25). Many of them seem to have this sense of entitlement that gets on my nerves.

Most people I make friends with are significantly older than I am. Don't know why that is. shrug

Normally between 30 and 45

I rarely hangout with or talk to anyone below their upper 20's. Its a mix between being deliberate about it and just how things end up.

There are always exceptions though. Aways

Most of my friends are within my age range, give or take a few years. I have a friend that's 8 years younger who is still going through the party stage but even though I don't party much, we still are able to do other things. I also have a group of ladies that I hang with at work that are 50+ years old. They're probably the raunchiest bunch you'd ever want to meet.

Yesterday we threw a big party at my parents' place to celebrate my dad's 70th- (last April), and my sister's 40th (coming September) birthday, It a huge party with around 150 guests, all dressed in black tie and evening gowns. Due to the fact that the party was both for my dad and my sister, there was a huge variety of age of the guests. The youngest present were my twin nephews who are 9, the oldest was probably around 79. The cool thing was how everybody was having a great time with eachother, no matter what age they were. We had a DJ spinning house tunes and everybody was dancing to it!
I believe that when you're above a certain age, it doesn't really matter that much anymore how old you are to have a good time with eachother!

I'm pretty open to any age. I recently did this self knowledge course and I was the youngest by far (I'm 21) lol The other people were 30 + most were in their late 30s - 50s and I still keep in touch with a few of them.

But I mainly hang around people my own age. But I work with people twice my age again so it doesn't bother me
