allergies?

who here has allergies this time of the year???

i have had a 'cold' now for about 3 and 1/2 weeks sigh i was starting to think its just allergies because its not getting any worse, everything is clear boxed and i dont have a sore throat or a fever...

but now, its in my EAR!!!!!

i cant hear out of my ear at all, thankfully i have some eardrops left and i have started using them, does this happen with allergies or does this mean its a cold?

anyone know?

i had a really dumb allergy spell last week. i think it must have been pollen or some kind of blooming plant thing that is unique to minneapolis, cuz i've never had allergy symptoms before moving here. or maybe i'm just getting old and fragile. either way, suckage is suckage. pout

yeah, most perfumes make my sinuses swell up like a balloon and i'm sick for the rest of the day. disbelief

sheesh, i should live in a plastic bubble. sigh

I know that I am allergic to the hair of certain animals and to dust as well and to certain medicines and also to lilac, but I don't know about any other plant/tree/grass. I am feeling like if I caught a cold and are blowing my nose and I just felt okay again after having had a cold for a long time (a lot longer than it should last) and I don't know if it's allergies or not mad.

I have had worse allergies, I think since I moved 10 years ago.

I am starting to wonder about soaps & perfumes, or "parfum," "fragrance," "parabin."

yeah I'm allergic to long haired cats, which is great since I have one!

Allergies often feel almost identical to colds, minus the body aches.

Yeah, I've learned to not touch my face after touching the cat until I wash my hands first. We keep her out of the bedroom, and try to give her her own places to lie down and shed her never ending supply of white fur.

I also love those tape rollers!

hug naked

I have a sinus infection right now. My throat is sore and is beet red. I'm going to try gargling with warm salt water, and drink lots of tea.

I hope you feel better soon, naked. I know how allergies are, they are no fun whatsoever.
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Same here, the only soap I can use anymore is Dove for sensitive skin. If I try using another kind of soap, my facial skin gets beet red and very dried out. I definitely think I have an allergy.

It is also very common to develop new allergies as you get older. So things that you've never had a problem with you can suddenly become allergic to in your 30s and older. A few of my friends have become lactose intolerant after consuming milk products all their lives. eek I'd die without ice cream.

I usually get a sinus infection along with pinkeye during allergy season. Brutal! disbelief
