Are tattoos sexy?

A question for my fellow orgers...do you find that tattoos make a person more attractive of do you find them a turn off? I just got my first one last week (pics coming soon) and wondered what others opinions were as i think that they can be beautiful...if they are done by a talented artist

Heavenly

it really depends on many things - the location of the tattoo, the tattoo itself, the person's body shape and color, if it matches the tattoo...and so on and on...

Hi, I think it depends on where the tattoo is located. Where is your tattoo located if i may ask?

I do too... and how well it is done. I have one and I have it located so that it doesn't have to show if I don't want it to.

I have girlfriends who have very nice tattoos, but they look trashy because of where they are located, and the older they get the more trashy they look. There is also the factor of having too much and too many... in my opinion.

I have the prince on my bicep. It's my only tatoo and will stay that way (cause it hurt getting the outline of that bitch done and don't want to repeat that again!).

they're alright as long as you don't over do it IMO.

it completley depends on the tattoo and where it is on your body...as long as u like it then thats all that matters...oh and as long as its not a hairy naked man or evil clown tattooed on your back u are probably ok...

i have three very secretly hidden tattos...a four leaf clover on my extreme lower hip (right by my...um...u know...u r lucky if u get to see it wink), a tribal sun on my ankle and a fairy on my lower back. i think all three are VERY sexy...

'u don't have 2 b beautiful 2 turn me on...'
you're only as old as you feel..............so how old do i feel horny

Now that food has replaced sex in my life, I can't even get into my own pants.

One thing that sucks is that tats are now passe and fashionable. They no longer represent what they used to.

Precisely. I thought about getting one years ago, but since everybody seemed to be doing it I lost interest real quick. Plus the fact that I don't trust whether or not their needles are as clean as can be.

They allow you to se the packaged needles and devices they use..everything is sealed and sterile etc. This (should be) is the standard operational prodeure. Get one..a nice lil tiger smile

Still, a ton of people have 'em. It looks good if it's in a good spot, and not covering a large part of your body, but it's way too common now. If this was the '60s and I was old enough I'd probably be a hippy with a couple of 'em. biggrin

Indeed, it's a fine balance

You don't want to look like a public toilet, a collection of incoherent statements, yet you don't want it to look monotonous, like wallpaper either.

I spose that's why having more tattoos becomes more and more difficult..

actually i have a friend in art school back in new england..

he knows my tattoo and actually hates it and has been pestering me for years to do something with it...

now i have a few thoughts for him...

i told him if i used his design that i would allow him to have his signature tattooed on me...

I love tats. I've got a mandelbrot fractal on the back of my neck and a bunny on the inside of my wrist that has fairy wings which wrap around, and it says 'vegan' in swirly letters between the wingtips and it's beauuutiful.

I find tattoos to be sexy on certain people, but as everyone knows it don't matter to the person who's getting the tattoo they think it's the SHIT.

Tattoos are not inherently sexy. They are like any other artwork; some can be beautiful and breath-taking and others can be downright tacky or offensive (the Looney Tunes Tasmanian Devil comes to mind...).

I have one small tattoo that was designed by a friend who's an artist and I had it done about 8 years ago. It's located in place I can cover up, or show it off if I choose, though I must say I show it off much less than I used to. I'm still planning another, but just haven't gone to do it yet. Maybe this spring...

It's gotta be the right one on the right person. And when it comes down to it, who gives a shit what people think. As long as YOU'RE happy with it that's all that matters!
