I'm severely allergic to dustmites and I have some issues with pollen. My allergist swears by nasal irrigation with warm saline water - and it really does work!

I have to wear hats and keep my body covered as much as possible; even with the melanin I have to keep covered. I'm allergic to most fragranced soaps, most antibiotics oh and Ibuprofens.

Some perfumes send me straight into asthma attacks, dust and roaches do me in. That goes ditto for cats and dogs too.

I have had 3 allergy skin tests in my life.

I am highly allergic to mold, dust, most trees, most pollens. Then comes the perfumes/fragrances and smoke gets to my allergies as well.
Thank goodness my dog/cat dander did not come up.

I am suffering at the moment. I think it is all of the "new" pollens here that I am being exposed to for the first time.

It sucks.
I used to get allergy injections in the states. It is a long process but it worked.

And I 4got smoke. I was soooo relieved when smoking in restaurants and bars was put in place here. I hated to go out socially because I suffered so much.

I looooove me some tropical fruits and have never really had a food allergy (slight lactose when I was young though). Just recently, I've noticed when I eat pineapple, my tongue starts hurting like crazy! I guess I'm developing a food allergy to that. Ugh!!!! For the love of a biscuit!!!!!

I have many food quirks and I know that it annoys my friends at times. Plus, it's hard for me to eat fast food (ick) or pretty much anything fried with friends since I can't eat greasy foods. My stomach cramps up and I end up really sick. I've been tested for gall stones, ulcers, etc but the doctors couldn't figure out what is wrong.
