Ex-Moderator | My stylist is leaving me!!! After helping him through hair school and the subsequent 12 years of him making my hair gorgeous, he's leaving Minneapolis for Las Vegas. I don't know what I'm going to do!!!! My hair is never going to be as fabulous again. I mean, I'm happy for him and all. But my hair is going to suffer!! |

Everytime I see a chick with bomb ass hair, I always think of you
Have you asked (told) him that he needs to hook you up with a valid replacement before he leaves?! 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

I once gave up my stylist over her non-stop increases in her fee. I could no longer afford her. I huffed and I puffed, but I found another one I like even better, and save money. You'll find another one.

Have you asked (told) him that he needs to hook you up with a valid replacement before he leaves?! awwww.... thanks!! And, well, he's also a close friend, so I couldn't have that be the first thing I say when he told me he was leaving town for good. And I'm not sure any of the ladies he works with are good enough. Maybe one of them... I'm gonna have to talk to him. |

I can't cut and color my own hair! do you have a brother? my mom just told me last week that when i was 4, i was always very scared to go to the hairdresser. so one saturday morning, i woke my mom up and said "hey mom, look, now i never have to be scared of the hairdresser anymore because theo (my brother) cut my hair and it wasn't scary at all" my mom said that my brother had cut me to look like a "plucked chicken" they had to shave off all my hair to make me look decent again brothers can be a great help in styling and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

See, this is also the problem. He gives me a super duper discount cause we're friends. This is going to double or possibly triple what I spend on my hair. |

on that note, what exactly do you guys pay for a haircut these days?
i pay about 20 euro's for a simple wash & cut, which translates to, ehm, about $ 25,- i guess. i don't complain because i'm happy that i found her but i remember back in 1998 i had to dish out only 9 euro's for wash&cut. women's haircuts/styling can be hilariously expensive. i remember my best friend went for some highlights and stuff and in the end she had to dish out almost $ 100,- and true love lives on lollipops and crisps
