I completely disagree with this. I had a guy friend in high school who swore up and down that every girl secretly had lesbian tendancies. (I think he just wanted to believe that any girl he dated might do girl-on-girl for him. ) I can appreciate if other woman are pretty/attractive but I've never wanted to hook up with one. I disagree as well, just going by my own personal experience.

Anyway, I agree with you , but somehow (again, it's my opinion)I don't consider it bisexuality, just some kind of intense admiration... well, those feelings are similar to when i am in love with someone, but the added component of physical attraction tends to give those feelings of love & awe more of an understandable context, i guess. i don't know if i'd consider "friend crushes" bisexuality. maybe "bi-amorous-ity"? That's pretty much what I mean by I don't think everyone's bi, but everyone can have attraction to anyone, Just that's it's platonic. I have friendship crushes all the time. It's usually when you are just getting to know someone and you find out how unbelievably NEAT they are, how much you have in common, how well you connect, etc. etc. Bisexuality is talking about the sexy bits. And if there's no sexual attraction or wanting to do the nasty, then I don't think that counts. |

I don't believe the whole everyone is bi thing. I do think guys are actually more inclined towards bi-sexual feelings than girls, cause they're so sexual in nature. A guy will stick his dick in the carcus of a recently run-over dog on the side of the road, if you give him enough beer. Don't let thin veneer of machismo repression men cloak themselves in fool ya. When looooove to fuck. I think most girls know exactly want they want, and they want men. So no, most women are not bi. Most women are potential sluts.

Imago: you know it doesn't make you bisexual just because neither gender wants you, right?

Also, do you think the entire preception that more women are bi than men is false? I think what you're witnessing is women's openness. I think there are just as many if not more bi men than women--they're just more repressed about it.

A larger number of women tend to be bisexual or even have bisexual thoughts but never act on them. I don't think it's so much that more women than men are bisexual. I think it's more a case of it being more socially acceptable for women to experiment or acknowledge same-sex attractions than it is for men to do so. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

I don't think that I'm bi at all. I've never fantasized or considered having sex with a woman. And a lot of the time bisexuality confuses me. Or I tend not to think about it if it's right in front of my face (as in a boyfriend or fuckbuddy or whatever). I suppose I'm content that the guy is with me at that moment, or year, or era, or whatever, and that it's not something that I need to understand in order to love/screw/understand the person. I can understand and appreciate that it's a part of them, but I don't have to understand bisexuality itself.
Sure, there are women that I jokingly will tell people that I'd go straight for (Sheryl Crow, Diane Lane - and I guess it's a certain type, huh), but I'm not actually sexually attracted to them. I just appreciate their beauty. But I'm not repulsed by a vagina unless, say, you were to shove my face in one or it touched me in some other way unexpectedly - like a snake or a spider (). But I'm not the least bit interested in one either, unless I can see that there's a penis in it. "Try to remember how you used to feel about me
and think about how you're treating me now. Then try to reconcile them, if you can. But you don't even remember, do you?"
