Do you salt your food before tasting it?

Or do you wait until you know it needs it?

If you don't feel comfortable answering here, please orgnote me; I need these numbers soon, thanks.

Unless I'm told otherwise, I'll assume for everyone who responds that the same is true for pepper?

Or would that be presumptuous of me?

You have to choose one. The software I'm using only allows for "yes" or "no."

Same. I almost never add salt to anything. There may be a little in the cooking process, but that's all, really.

So yes, I always taste it first.

Seasoning your food before you taste it is a massive insult to the chef.....would never consider it and when people do it to me i tend to let them know i am insulted.

Does the "it" here refer to "salt"? That's weird.

Do you say "BAM!" on those occasions when you do add salt?
