Talking to an old lady like that true i can see that side of it there are many sides to this, well 2 major ones that i can see bitch better hope her ass is ill from what I've read, her family says that her actions were due to her not taking her medication, so because of her negligence-not her condition, that lady had to put up with that bullshit...I stand by my earlier notion that the old lady should have knocked the shit of her... the family are now speaking out on this girls behalf...they should have put fourth more effort to make sure she took her medication properly...sometimes, these conditions seem like more of a safety net for peoples shitty behavior than an actual condition...

That little old lady knows damned well what it was like to sit in the back of a pbulic transport bus and put up with ill treatment when she was that 'soldia' girl's age. She sure as hell doesn't need to be getting it from some punk in 2008, meds or no meds. I'm sorry---I HATE seeing elderly treated like that. HATE IT. . [Edited 5/11/08 21:19pm]

Or were they just explaining away their daughter's behavior through medication? lawd, I need to read this story now.

There's a radio interview with her sister and the father of her child (er, "baby daddy") on youtube. The sister says she doesn't like to take her meds because "it make her slow". The father of her kid went to on blame the city over and over for not doing I-don't-know-what to help her with her bi-polarity, and they both kept going on about how sweet she is . Sadly, you could tell that these two weren't exactly the brightest lightbulbs in the package, but yeah, seemed like they didn't get why it was imperative for this girl to be taking her meds. Actually, the sister initially had an attitude with the interviewer like HE did something wrong. It was crazy

She has meds, they've been paid for or provided somehow. All she has to do is take them. & like it or not it's up to her & her family to ensure that she takes them & stays straight (unless they institutionalize her ass). So wtf??

Well here's the family...the boyfriend is blaming Grady Hospital (that's sort of their pre-immenent hospital in ATL) for not giving her enough meds, but then the sister says she doesn't want to take the meds because they make her move slow and sleep all day, which she doesn't want to do...Lawd H'ammercy... http://youtube.com/watch?v=cSCZA0neZl Just sayin'before you check out the radio interview, "HOT MESS Alert" coming through .

SHE NEEDS TO TRY "MOVING SLOW"
and perhaps her "sleeping all day" would be better for the rest of mankind.
