Atlanta Police Issue Arrest Warrant For “Soulja Girl”

http://allhiphop.com/stor...23948.aspx

Police in Atlanta’s public transportation have issued a warrant for the arrest of a young woman known as “Soulja Girl” after she was seen violently rebuking an elderly woman on a subway line.

The woman was seen screaming on the train at the elderly woman while reciting lyrics to the rapper Soulja Boy.

The woman is seen on a widely-viewed video screaming, “Yaaa, n***a, yaaa” and “I’ma beat you’re a** on this train.”

She also called the senior citizen a hoe and a b***h and threatened to kill her.

Wanda Y. Dunham, the chief of police for Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA), issued a statement requesting help in arresting the female.

AllHipHop.com confirmed with a MARTA representative that the person in the video is indeed the same person sought by police.

“MARTA police were notified about this video last Friday and launched an immediate and aggressive investigation into the incident,” said Dunham said in a statement. “The tipster also indicated the suspect has been known to ride Bus Route 22. MARTA police were able to positively identify the individual allegedly involved in this incident and have secured a warrant for her arrest.”

The sensational event occurred at the East Lake Station, which is where the suspect exited the train after the female berated the elderly patron.

One of the men objecting to her actions on the train yanked at Soulja Girl’s weave after she accused him of raping her.

Shortly thereafter, the aggressive female exited the train.

Dunham attempted to quell any concerns for public safety.

“We want to assure the public that this is an extremely isolated incident and that customer safety and security are our highest priorities,” the MARTA Chief of Police said. “We regret that any customer had to endure such harassment while using our system. I also wish the many citizens who witnessed this incident would have contacted the MARTA police so that we could have responded to this situation immediately. We are asking that anyone who witnessed this incident please come forward to provide additional first hand information, which may lead to additional charges against the suspect.”

Well, who would just happen to be taping that, to begin with? Looks like it was set up, to me. Nothing elaborate, but it's unfortunate that it happened at all.

Well with technology these days, why wouldn't it be on tape? There are video camera's on cell phones and digital cameras as well. When the person who video taped the whole thing started some ruckus going on, then that could have prompted him/her to tape it. It happens that easily.
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I didn't wanna watch that shit by my friend BEGGED me to - you could tell the girl had some kind of mental issue. I know that lady was like, "WHY me??" disbelief It's really awful, I'm wishing someone had stepped up sooner b/c she was all in that lady's face for a WHILE, whipping her hands around & shit like she was gonna hit her. It's just too much...

But I gotta admit I laughed my ass off when the girl started shrieking (just before she got in the dude's face) & the guy seated (who she was standing in front of) got the FUCK outta there falloff He just gets up & leaves, THAT was funny...

Glad she's in custody (or whatever), hope she gets help/meds/something...

When I first saw it, I was actually afraid for that old lady. If she had so much as sneezed, I think that chile would've tried to bust her in the head. I've been on MARTA before when crazy people are on board, and the ONLY thing you can do is go into to a kinda zen space with a poker face and pay attention to nothing or NO one. I always wear dark sunglasses when I'm on MARTA, just in case something pops off...it's easier to keep straight, non-engaging composure and not invite any trouble that way. Love the city though, many parts of it are very pretty and the shopping is off the chain. But there are definitely "rough patches" with sociopaths lurking on certain lines and getting on at certain stops, so you just never know...you kinda have to always keep your guard up. Girl, in the last couple years I've felt more secure taking the train at 1am in HARLEM than I have at rush hour on Atlanta's MARTA neutral

Girl if you do you better stick to direct routes to the malls and shopping centers and THAT's IT.

Last summer I took the MARTA train to MLK center to make a "pilgrimage" to Ebenezer Baptist Church, & then Martin and Coretta's tombs (which btw, sit in the middle of a large reflecting pool to keep crazy people from easily accessing them and doing crazy stuff to them confused) . The train station was OFF THE CHAIN with crazy folks, mostly people under 30. When I say crazy, I mean drunks and addicts, schitzophrenics needing medication, "hustlers"... ALL of it. I made it to the MLK Center okay . By the time I left, once I looked in every direction I realized that getting that 8 blocks back was going to be no easy feat and I literally had to ask for an escort to MARTA.

Actually, I didn't even go back to that train station, I had the escort dude put me on a bus back towards downtown business district, and then took the train from there. MARTA is no joke. If your behind is not going to get some shoes at one of the MANY shopping centers they have there...or to the regentrified part of "Five Points" (that's their little ecclectric wanna-be "San-Fran" part of town) You have to be ready for something to pop off at ANY second nod

...Some other day I'll share the story with you of how some boy's idea of flirting with me was to sit next to me for 10 minutes and do his drug deals by cel phone, while he leered at me and sensually massaged his belly fat for me to take in all of his, um---"sexual ampleness"...? feeling ill shake feeling ill
