. Okay...so now that Homeboy's mother gave you the scoop that he's smitten with Lil Miss Lady  ....as a mom, when is the time to you know, check in and give her the "talk"? Not the normal birds and bees talk that girls get earlier...but the "Mom knows that you have a beau and it looks like he reaaaally likes you so maybe we need to talk" talk?  . My sister has girls and I can only imagine how fast time wll fly with her babies...before you know it they're in a pretty ball gown off to the prom  | |

I think nowadays you just have to celebrate young black men who are doing well. Syd is focused on her nursing career. I talk ALL the time. Believe me. | |

Someone just emailed me this story about a girl that wasn't permitted to enter her prom because her dress was deemed inappropriate. Unfortunately, this has become the norm.  That's why it was sooooo refreshing to see your baby looking so classy, elegant, and lady-like.
