I went to Starbucks yesterday to meet with my financial advisor. As I got out of the car I guess my work badge fell out and the guy that was outside brought it in to me. I thanked him graciously and struck up conversation. He had a Harley Davidson Team North Carolina shirt and on I asked him if he was from NC. I'm a Carolina girl to heart and love meeting Carolinians in my new city of Atlanta.

I'm networking everywhere I go, so we exchanged cards. He's a tour manager and I used to work in radio and am looking to get back into the business.

He called me at 8 this morning - TWICE

Then I checked my email- yup you guessed it. I don't want to turn him off, but I have a man, and very happy with him! But I would love to get my network on in this city. This is when you run into men that wont do anything for you unless you give him a promise of getting some pooh tang.

I have to be up front I guess. When I exchange cards and strike up conversation I'm not trying to flirt, I genuinely want to get to know people.

That's a big red flag to me, whether you wanted to date him or not. He may be a nice guy, but he seems way too desperate. Head for the hills on that one!
