Yes!

Which of course, only fueled my speculation that he was packing a vagina.

But this has since been ruled inaccurate. So who knows what the hell is going on with all of this.

This thread sucks ass.

Your lawsuit ain't asking for chump change either. I'm sure he wishes he never did that. I am also certian his ass will be canned if he lost 200K for MC squared.

I have a few questions:
How long had you worked there?
Is there a Human Resource department?
Did you attempt to work nonpayment of overtime problems, with your employer first?

The Fair Labor and Standards practice covers this, with or without an attorney.
Years ago, my employer, due to a nursing shortage, offered time and a half for anyone who worked an unscheduled day. I signed up, and was paid for several months, those extra days I worked. My boss went on maternity leave, and the person filling in, didn't like the idea of part-time staff using the system. She with held the half-time wages. I met with administration, stated, you've been paying me this, and there's no documented limit or policy, as to who can sign up for the program.
I was reimbursed, and a new policy was issued, stating part-time staff can't sign up. Fine. I'm with the same employer and have been for >25 years.
Sometimes management is unfamiliar with the law.
We also have a risk management department. If I have any questions, I call them. They're receptive to putting out fires.

Sometimes people making decisions are completely unfamiliar with the law.
Here's an example: An RN was let go in the CT-ICU and told, and it was PUT IN WRITING she was "too old". My employer paid out $$ for that one.....
In the medical field, people get promoted, who have no management or business background and stupid things happen.
How about the department head who sent a letter to everyone stating: "Hispanic patients will now get priority" in the cath lab. All because he was playing racquet ball, missed his scheduled case and another MD took over his room. His Hispanic patient was kept waiting, and thought she was treated differently as all the Caucasions were being seen. (she happened to have a doc who was never on time) Reverse discrimination. I read that letter and laughed my butt off. It was even signed off by an executive VP! I discretely informed the woman in charge of the cath lab to confiscate all the letters from everyone's mailbox.
There's simply lack of judgement in some situations. confused

excellent letter but dont get your hopes up too high.....

I have seen a few of these letters and although it sounds your attorney is not fucking around it is pretty "form" like for this type of action..

GOOD LUCK... and start making up a really good story that your over weight balding boss said he would fire you if he was not "serviced"
