The first I ever wore was a spritz of my dad's Paul Sebastian cologne, which I wore for a 9th grade dance. The first I ever bought was either one of the "pheromones" (essential oils) available through 1-800 NEW FUNK back in the early 90s or Gravity.

I don't remember, really. The first cologne I ever wore was called Daisies Won't Tell. It was a little-girl fragrance made by Avon.
I think the first one I ever bought was Charlie...or Rive Gauche...or maybe Charles of the Ritz. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

But I think my first was Love's Baby Soft. I still like that scent, if it's really subtle. The ads were bordering on child porn, though. |

Something purely "lily-of-the-valley" smell...probably from Avon.
Now I don't like that smell, unless it's mixed in with others.
