American WORKING orgers.... economic stimulus money? Anybody get their's yet....supposed to have started depositing and /or mailing out checks last week by social security number....I haven't seen mine yet...

There was a HUGE article about this last week and it said they were going to try to get all of them processed by the those who have already filed their taxes by today May 9.... and mine just showed up today...so excited to get it...but I can't have it...so dammit... | |

Basically if you don't OWE money to the government and as a single person made less than $75K or as a married couple less than $125K you eligable for the money. The money is $600 for an individual and $1200 for a married couple....PLUS $300 per eligable child....of which I have three.... The intent here is supposed to give people money to stimulate the economy...but with it so shitty right now...people are far more likely, like me, to squirrel it away for a rainy day...and let me tell you my friends...it's getting cloudy as a mf'r....  | |

Based on the schedule, mine should have been direct deposited to my account by today. It has not yet. If they have to mail it to me because of THEIR screw ups on my taxes this year, that means I won't get it till the end of June/beginning of July. |
