Looks good but you might as well ride a bicycle, and that´s healthier, too. Then again, maybe that scooter is a bit faster than a bicycle but when I see people riding their scooters very slowly I always say to myself that they might as well ride a bicyle but are just too lazy for that.

Depends what scooter you get - mine does 175kmph (110 mph). A bit faster than a bicycle.

lol

Trust me, scooters go a lot faster than peddling a bike. i think my max on flat ground is 20mph. though i've been able to hit 30mph going downhill, that shh is pretty scary on a street bike. eek

A big scooter's fun in the city. I'm currently riding a Yamaha Tmax - 500cc.

I'm shopping for a new ride at the moment - if I go for another scooter, it'll have to be the Gilera GP800 - 840cc!!

There's nothing magnificent about riding a moped. Now if i had a Mazerati or Alpha Romero, i'd put magnificent in front of that.

I saw someone 2 days ago on a scooter, leaving the gas station. And theyare lots of fun if you live in the city.

neutral But I live out in the boonies with all the uppity negroes so a moped/scooter is an eyesore when mostly you see Mercedes, Lexus, BMW, or Caddy Escalades. I guess that means I'm just gonna have to get that BMW I've always wanted...for the good of the neighborhood, of course.

Vespa GT 200 - Gran Turismo
At Vespa Miami you will find the largest selection of Vespa GT200 Scooters for sale in the USA. Please click on the links below for more information about the current range of Vespa GT200 Scooters for sale at Vespa Miami.

Vespa GT200 Power
The 4-stroke 4-valve 200cc engine is liquid-cooled and remarkably powerful. The L.E.AD.E.R. (Low Emissions ADvanced Engine Range) engine has the power to pull away from almost any kind of traffic you encounter. The Granturismo's exceptionally low levels of air and noise pollution well exceed the standards being considered in Europe and America many years from now.
Style. With its chrome mirrors and classic Vespa lines, the Granturismo is a thoroughly modern scooter true to its heritage. On the Granturismo you find the kinds of touches that have made Vespa world-famous: pressed steel monocoque chassis, 5-spoke die-cast alloy wheels, chrome retractable passenger footrests, and a classic floorboard design. And the Granturismo shines in the evening: the vintage-style dashboard lights up blue for excellent night-time visibility, and the halogen headlamp provides plenty of illumination.

Vespa GT200 Comfort
With it's wide double-stitched seat the Granturismo has comfort to spare. Storage? How about room for two open face helmets under the seat and a spacious glove compartment. There's plenty of room to run errands and bring a passenger along with you. And the ride is smoother than ever before thanks to dual rear shock absorbers, 12" wheels, and front and rear 220mm hydraulic disc brakes.

Vespa GT200 Accessories
Along with the best scooter available, comes the best accessories. The matching-color top case is spacious enough for a couple bags of groceries and has a luxurious padded backrest for your passenger. Contact your local Vespa dealer to check on the availability of the top case and other fine Granturismo accessories such as windscreens and matching color helmets.
