I took a training class courtesy of my school and I made my mommy a design using a wood burning tool. I can't wait for her to see it I feel like the 5 year olds in my class


but be happy your mom is still here. I love my mother and sometimes we have issues but in the end she is always there for me and I thank everyday for her. Not ever body can just pick up the phone and call their mothers to just talk. I am very thankful for that.

Thanks all for giving me some perspective on this. I do love and cherish my folks, and I do fear the day they'll be gone. And there are days when I can't wait to get myself and the kids over there just to hang out.

I'm the same about Father's Day - I eat up the cards my kids make for me and love them up like mad, then I just wanna be done with it. Let the Mythbusters marathon begin.

My mom hated her cellphone.. and her bill so ijust may get her a go phone and herphone is so fuckin' old.. so i just might do that

Since I live 1600 miles away, Mom got a fresh fruit basket (Dad is diabetic).

Boyfriend's Moms' (he was raised by grandma, aunts, and stepmom) all got their fruit baskets or flowers already. It's not a pain to me...since we both are so far from the fams.

But I hate flowers. I hate sending them....it's so typical...matriarch I hate flowers...I think I am the only female on earth that doesn't care for flowers
