If u are a lesbian ...why would u be attracted to a woman that looks manly ....and same for a gay guy ...why would u be attracted to a guy that looks feminine..... I honestly don't mean to offend anyone but am just trying to see and understand this .. For me if ..I wanted a women I would want her to look very much like a woman I'm gay and I like masculine guys. But some guys prefer feminine guys. My ex for example But I'm finally hitting puberty so I'm losing my girly edge but inside I still think I'll always be a chick. Please let someone hot need my particular niche! 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

I like a guy to be a little bit fem. I hate 'dudes' or the over-the-top masculine type. It's....erm..... boring. I like over the top ultra masculine men only for one thing. For a relationship I just want a regular, nerdy guy that can get along with my friends without being phony.....oh yeah, he has to have a nice butt. I feel like I'm on matchmaker.com or something..... orgnote me if any of you fit this description..... MyeternalgrattitudetoPhil&Val.Herman said "We want sweaty truckers at the truck stop! There's no accounting for taste. And that is your answer, Kylie. Even though it would seem easier to categorise gay people under one label, it is just the same with striaght men; some like to be dominate, others like to be dominated. I myself am like Miguel and Josh here; I like 'dudes'. Just regular guys that aren't posterboys for fagdom. No bad to them, but to each their own, right? And I can't believe Miguel and I are mirror-mates; his remarks about 'over the top ultra masculine men' being good for one thing is SO me. As is his desription of 'nerdy guy'. I also have learned that even though I have preferences (older, wiser, butcher than myself) I will not limit myself to that. And true, my two long relationships in life were with men that I would never picture myself with, but we got together because of the 'spark'. Which is a thing you cannot ignore. I have actually limited my type of men as 'men with a twinkle in their eyes'. But I still have to bump into the guy I can talk music with and play music with and go to the pub with and share my friends with and go get a dog with so we can walk the bleeding dog and walk hand in hand and then get home and kiss and make out, cook, watch a movie, then off to bed for major cuddling. Then wake up together. Call me a sucker for romance. And if he looks good in leather, I am fine with that too.

This is exactly what stands out in my mind when I see a gorgeous gay guy, you can tell that they put effort and thought in the morning as to what to wear, and that they are nicely groomed. I am not one for the "just rolled outta bed, don't care what I look like," look.

I think that, with straight men, they often don't have to put much effort in because it's the women that society conditions to compete with respect to looks. [Edited 5/6/08 15:22pm]

Not exactly cute material.
