the wal-mart where i live is very nice as well....i've never had a problem, it just depends where the store is located....i know there's one in stockton california that's not so great as far as the area, but most all the wal-mart's i've been to have been nice. the prices are great, you can't beat them! yeah,it just depends on the area. The Wal-Mart that I shop at is always clean and I've never had any problems whatsoever.I love the prices.

How come everyone is claiming a WalMart as nice? You must live in the Whitest, much better offest parts of a city. Perhaps they aren't as packed since them folk wouldnt be caught dead in one. I'd say way out, but those Walmarts in the sticks are Redneck and Trailer as hell

A lot of the people I know who shop Wal*Mart always say they shop there because the prices are lower, but then they go in for one item and come out with a cart full. Hardly seems to save much money to me. It seems more like the impulse shopper's paradise.
I don't shop Wal*Mart at all, but I tend to steer clear of most chain stores and shop local retailers. Besides, I realize my own potential for impulse buying and I'd rather not. I suspect my consumer habits might be seen as a bit unconventional, anyway. We buy secondhand goods whenever possible. We do not buy many disposable goods and we generally buy locally farmed food. I just really don't need the "convenience" that Wal*Mart and similar stores offer. I really hate those types of environments, anyway. I agree with those who say smaller businesses have much better customer service. That is my experience as well. Murica: at least it's not Sudan.
