Average episode considering how awesome the last one. I thought the most interesting part was Clare's disappearance.
That Miles twat just pisses me off.

That Miles twat just pisses me off. Why is Miles giving her the eye???? And yeah, you wake up in the jungle and see Claire taking off with some guy (her dad) and you just go back to sleep because Sawyer said you have a restraining order..... WTF was that all about???

I find it ....but Mach ! LOST is the most addictive TV series I have ever watched . I absolutely love it. It makes me feel good to watch it. The only bummer ( for casual watchers) is the fact that it´s VERY difficult to really get into it and to understand the whole storyline if you only know a few episodes. There are other series that are extremely easy to get into, LOST is definitely not one of them. I hope it doesn´t get too confusing and contradictive towards the end ( supposedly in 2010). I had that feeling while watching reruns of the 60s series The Prisoner in the late 80s. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

He was just being a dick. I thought the most interesting is how the characters are being 'haunted' by their past/the island in the future.

I saw the episode where the guy kept flashing back to his military days and something about a chick he missed and promised he would see in the future, which I am told is really the daughter of the man who owns the island

No, she isn't. I thought it was as clear as day that Sawyer asked her to look after his daughter, Clementine. As far as the fascination Miles has with Claire and Aaron, I think he's being influenced by Charlie's spirit on some level. Why else would they have him wear that hood except to invoke images of Charlie in S1? This episode wasn't as great as last week's, but I loved it just the same. You can't go wrong with 3 Christian sightings! They also heavily implied that Jack knows he's Claire's half-brother, which is why I thought he had issues with seeing him in the first place. The scene with Hurley was kind of creepy. Looking forward to Jacob and the return of Desmond and Sayid next week! "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

I love Lost ...
I didn't start watching it until it was in its 2nd season, and only then because my daughter, ex-wife and sister were raving about it lol. While visiting my daughter we rented the first season of Lost from Blockbuster, and we started watching it together. After the first 4 episodes or so, I thought "Eh, it's not too bad, I guess...don't see what everyone's raving about, though." Had I been watching it on tv like everyone else I probably would have started skipping episodes or even forgetting it was on, but because we had like 4 discs worth of episodes and my daughter was raving about it, I sat thru all the rest of them. By about episode 7 or 8 I was hooked lol ...I was saying "Let's rent more!" and ended up buying the entire first season on DVD when I got back home . Seriously...all the backstories, characters's lives intersecting in unknown and numerous ways...this huge, beautiful and insanely mysterious island...a looped recorded voice calling out for help for 16 years straight...some huge "thing" knocking down trees in the distance...the polar bear (lol)...the hatch(!!!)...I mean, wtf is a hatch doing buried on a supposedly deserted island in the middle of nowhere?... Kate in her bra and panties ...Sun in a skimpy bikini ...all of Hurley's one-liners ("Dude...you have some Arnst on you" after Arnst suddenly explodes..."You're wife's hot" to Jin when he knows Jin doesn't understand english)...I swear Hurley's comic timing is beyond perfect...and a pirate ship that wrecked like 4 miles inland(!!)...how the hell does a ship end up THAT far inland?... The discovery of "Adam and Eve" in the cave, with the two small black and white rocks...and Locke was paralized before the crash!! He's up walking around now, though, and keeping it secret from everyone...no wonder he's the most serene of all the survivors...Sawyer's vast list of nicknames for everyone lol...And Ben!!!...Holy crap, I've never seen a more devious and manipulative tv character in my life!... Sayid's torture tactics...and we meet the woman behind the 16 year cry for help(!!)...and she has a daughter on the island(!!!)...Button pushing every 108 minutes...and it might just be to keep the world from ending...and Hurley actually being worth 156 million dollars even though he looks like your average sloppy slacker...and winning that 156 million with the hatch numbers from the island ("The numbers are bad!! The number are bad!!" lol)... And on and on and on...geez, this is one complex tv show, and once it hooks you in you are HOOKED, believe that. ... [Edited 5/4/08 23:09pm]

That episode is the only thing that keeps me loving Locke; that bit when they finally reveal, right at the end, that he was in a wheelchair. Insane! Lost really is brilliant. The hallucinations, the numbers...and I will never forget the first episode of season 2 with Desmond. FUCK I was watching that with about 6-7 other people and when Jack and Him recognised each other right at the end we went MENTAL. Desmond is one of my primary reasons for watching Lost. I love his and Penelope's story.

Desmond, Sayid, Locke, and Ben are easily my favorites -- as long as they're featured, I couldn't be happier. Can't wait to see Locke and Ben at Jacob's cabin. Everything up to season 3 season finale. Since then : Three more people parachute onto the island - Miles, Daniel and Charlotte. The pilot of the helicopter Frank is there too. They come from a ship believed to have been sent by Charles Widmore. Miles has psychic powers of some sort, and there's something weird about Daniel too, he's a scientist but there's something more I think. Charlotte's just a bitch They all say at first they're there to rescue the plane crash survivors but pretty soon they reveal they're there for Ben. We don't know why yet but for some reason he apparently owes them 3.2 million dollars. We find out that someone tried to cover up the plane crashing on the island by staging an underwater discovery of the plane - as well as telling the world everyone on board died. So somehow we know that 6 of the survivors, Jack, Kate, Sayid, Aaron, Hurley and Sun, make it off the island and become celebrities based on a fabricated tale as to how they survived (they make Kate the "hero" who saved them all - not true). Somehow Kate becomes the guardian of Claire's baby son Aaron in the future and uses him to get a way shorter sentence because of her past crimes (see the video). Sayid ends up working for Ben as a hitman for people working for Charles Widmore - the man Ben says staged the cover up. No one knows who really did it though (yet). Ben is never fully trustworthy. Sayid works for him because Ben tells him one of Widmore's men killed his wife (Sayids). A team of bloodthirsty snipers are taken to the island by Frank and attempt to get Ben to surrender himself to Widmore by threatening to kill his adopted daughter Alex. He doesn't oblige so they shoot her Michael is a spy on the Widmore ship for Ben. Sayid and Desmond make it onto the ship but things are weird as usual. Kate thought she was pregnant to Sawyer but she's not (or she SAYS she's not at least). He acted way too happy with that news so they've kinda broken up for now. Again in the future, Jack and Kate get together but eventually break up due to Kate still contacting Sawyer somehow and Jack descending into a full on junkie as a result of seeing the ghost of his dead father (not entirely clear on that yet). I think that's pretty much everything important so far...
