Org Comic-Book Fans - Marvel's 'Secret Invasion' So far, so good. The first couple of issues rock. I hope it doesn't fizzle at the end like Civil Wars and World War Hulk.

First couple? I only have one issue so far.
edit: just found the online exclusive Secret Invasion seven-page preview on marvel.com which shows how Dugan was taken out and replaced by a skrull.

i can't do any more of these "event" mini-series. so they'll find out skrulls are imitating marvel characters, but those characters will come back to live nice and normal and retconned back to the stone age. it's getting tiring, which is fine, because it's making me not want to buy comics as much, and that gives me more money to waste on music.

Personally I dislike buying individual comics so I generally wait til the paperbacks come out, but from what I've read this seems like it could be a good event....and hopefully the effects last unlike the whole Spidey Civil War crap. I think thats why I liked House of M so much because its still effecting the whole mutant world to this day. Receiving transmission from David Bowie's nipple antenna. Do you read me Lieutenant Bowie, I said do you read me...Lieutenant Bowie
