hey cyclops ... you don't seem to suffer much but I do think you're quite lucky and at least you don't need make-up for the coming days ... whoever did this to you ... kick him in the groin And last but not least ... tell your dad to buy a new couch ... it's awful Jason, you're the dad I wanna be so badly ... that sounds worse than it is. I know I'm a pretty good one, but somehow there's always better or at least ones I can learn from. Still, my couch isn't half as awful as yours her brother was the one that hit her...a kick to his groin would be a welcomed relief for him, he feels terrible about it... that couch is awful...awful comfortable...

on the way home, I stopped to see my dad at his office and he said I needed to call my wife, it was an emergency...she had been trying to get in contact with me for a couple of hours and, for whatever reason, my stupid cell phone never rang and the voicemails she left just came thru this morning...anyway, she was at the emergency room with our daughter... Chloe was accidently hit in the face with a baseball bat...when I finally got there and walked into the room, I immediately burst into tears seeing my lil' girl like that...but she was fine, talking up a storm, joking with the nurses and wanting to get outta there.... she looked really bad though, her nose and eye were extremely swollen and discolored...they ran every scan necessary and she was fine...she does have a broken nose but its not deviated so thats another positve thing...I think her mother and I are in a lot worse shape over the whole thing...but again, shes fine, she's just gotta take it easy for a week or so and not bump her nose... I keep thinking how bad this could have been but I'm so thankful that it wasn't...the doctors said that she's very lucky her eye socket wasn't crushed or that it wasn't a hit to the side of her head which could have been pretty devastatiing...I know it sounds corny y'all, but if you got kids, hug 'em.... I know exactly how you felt. On Christmas night our youngest took a terrible spill off a scooter and although I'm usually a very calm parent, I was in hysterics. Her face was covered in blood. It was horrible. Here's a pic after my father in law (former boxing trainer) cleaned her face up: The Normal Whores Club

I was a mess as well...especially because I felt like it was all my fault. I can't stand seeing little ones hurt.
