My stupid CAT is SLAPPING ME!!!

ok, my one surviving cat (actually belongs to my sister but I wont go into that shit), is really really needy lately.

My sister had him declawed, so in order to protect himself, he punches people. (He has a tremendous and fierce right hand punch--a good left hook too).

But when I'm working from home, it's so fucking annoying.

He jumps up on my lap and smacks the shit out of my face to get my attention.

I'm starting to get really annoyed.

What stupid things does your animal do?

My pink skunk clown fish and bicolor blenny have been missing for over a week. I think the brittle starfish ate them.

If somebody declawed me I'd be pissed off too. Good thing cats can't file torture claims.

Funny how most pets don't have lice here... pets plus claws minus fleas or lice equals happier pets. Boo flag

Probably.

clown fish are territorial and a bit aggressive, so it's unlikely when you sprinkle food in that they don't jump out and rear their heads.

Sorry to hear that. I love clown fish.

They do.

Just make sure they have lots of things of their own that they are allowed to chew.

You know many? hah!

I know YOU didn't declaw the cat but try this on for size: Pull all your fingernails out and then try to do something with your hands. Or actually, the physical equivalent is amputating your fingers at the first knuckle. Like living like that?

He has a ton of his own toys, an assortment actually. But he loves shoes, slippers, my daughters favorite pink blanky, the bath mat, the end of the couch....

erm.

Are your descriptive comments aimed at me? I'm sorry I even mentioned it as would never declaw a cat, nor crate train a dog.

You're preaching to the choir. I only mentioned that fact to explain he punches so hard, and why my face is taking a beating right now.

redface I'm sorry, I got carried away. I just feel strongly about those things is all boxed

My holy birman who passed away a few years ago used to punch me too, he was big and had really heavy paws...and a holier-than-thou attitude. If I disturbed the holy birman he'd let me know, including having my own his space in bed. disbelief
Why did you agree to take care of him for your sister again? lol Wait a minute: Weren't you supposed to take him to her last year? hmmm

I agreed to take them so they didn't have to sit in a boarding kennel in the UK for six weeks.

Well over a year later, my sister has done nothing to get them over to her, and one of them passed away two weeks ago.

wow. I'm loving my life now neutral

sad I'm sorry to hear that. Maybe the cat's that left is blaming you for the other cat being gone and that's why he's punching you. You're gonna end up getting a kitten to keep him company hah! pussy

My cat likes to play "Sentry" by laying right in your path and then swiping and hissing as you pass!

One of my cats do this, minus the hissing and swiping. He's just trying to make you trip over him so he can look all offended. rolleyes Fatso.
