superkiss said: WillyWonka said: I do, too. whats it like inside ur chocolate factory? Well, that's a subjective question. Some don't have a good time inside -- for them, the factory is far too weird and makes little sense, and therefore just isn't any fun; they don't care for the surprises, and the many secrets don't thrill or titillate but instead only try patience. I'm appreciative to those people for their brief tour taken in good faith, and all I ask is that they don't spoil the flavour of the candy for anybody else out there who may be interested. Others do enjoy being inside, even if only to see for themselves the reason for the hoopla. They've usually not ever experienced anything like my factory, and the novelty becomes a pleasant respite from the stresses of their lives - a laugh and a sweet is often the best medicine for a bad day, you know. Most of my visitors are of this variety, and they're great fun while they're here - as long as they just don't touch anything! But sweets can become sickening after awhile, and even the greatest of chocolate factories lose their mystique over time, and so I have a fairly constant turnover of guests as old ones wave goodbye and new ones find their tickets. Finally, there are those who have a genuinely good time here and who enjoy the weirdness and the mystery, and who are completely, graciously, accepting of the nonsense found inside these walls because they understand that it's the reason for its existence, and not the structure itself, which truly matters. These people travel deepest into the factory, eventually finding their way to its heart, and it is they who help to give it life. Please stop by sometime, friend! My door is always open. | |
