it's not exactly a movie i want to load on my ipod and watch wherever i go, but i do think that in terms of visuals and evoking a particular mood, it's completely brilliant. it's great modern surrealist filmmaking in an era when nobody really makes surrealist films anymore.

I just got a call from one of these information sessions about holidays night, you know, they give you a $60 coles myer voucher just for attending. I said quickly "will there be babysitting there?" and she said "no, unfortunately" and I made myself sound absolutely crestfallen - she couldn't wait to get off the phone to me evillol

Death at a Funeral was the best comedy I have seen in a LOOOOG time. I mean it has midgets in it, and who doesn't love midgets?

We did see Gone Baby Gone, it was pretty confronting in many ways, about choices and "the right thing to do" sure made for interesting dinner conversation afterwards nod good movie.
